Sources on Twitter have been a buzz with news that Bitfinex could potentially be looking to hold an Initial Exchange Offering. 

The news started circulating on Twitter, with several independent sources claiming to have heard the same thing. According to the sources, Bitfinex is planning an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) that would be looking to raise $1 billion.

There has also been talk that the IEO could possibly be looking to make use of Tether (USDT) as the method of payment for participating.
